Has anyone else noticed peaple getting desperat for slices? I used to charge 10k a slice free if it was under 20% at first everyone freaked out,"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING THAT IS TOO HIGH!!!1!!a". Then everytime I went to a port there were 2 or 3 peaple sending tells asking for slices and not batting an eye at the price. So I reased my price so peaple would leave me alone.Then I did it again. Well I'm up to 40k nothing for free and peaple are still hounding me, they grumble once but then fork it over. Am I taking advantige too much? Or should I see how high I can get it?

Wow...40k for a slice...I need to try that...
Serously though...I'm usually anon and untagged (unless I just logged in), so unless somebody spots me with my tag, I stay out of /tell hell. And the few times I do go tagged and searchable, I usually get "Ok...nevermind." or "I'll have to think about it." whenever I tell them my price is 10k per slice.
I haven't sliced a weapon in almost 3 weeks now...not even for myself.

I would go around untagged but to tell the truth smuggler was my first master profetion and I am proud of it, although sony is beating me down one patch at a time.

I haven't finished smuggler yet, so i don't slice for the public, but I think you should charge whatever you can get, after all your a smuggler, and selling your services etc will always be up for barter. if you can get 40k for a slice then congrats. if you can get 100k (evil grin).....
As for ppl complaining about prices, they can go find another smuggler, also while i think on it, who are they to state what your time and hard work are worth? thats up to you, as it was you that ground out smuggler, bought or made the tools etc. they don't like it, its tough luck 
1other thought while im typing.... i read a post that made me decide to do something.... I am going to have factory made tools with the cheapest resources i can find, and also i intend to hand craft a few very high % tools. why? for those ppl that will no listen when i tell that its totally random. if they continue to argue, i will use the high quality tools at a cost of 50K per slice (or something like that) then hope the slice gods are watching and throw a 15% speed at their uber weapon

I wear my tag, and I am always searchable. I think for me, business is pretty balanced out at 10k per/ 100k armor set. Although I have actually had to /addignore a couple people because they just blew up at me when I told my prices. But for the majority, if the customer paid well for his armor/weapon, they'll usually pay well for a slice. I've had people pay me 20k for a good damage slice.
The way I see it, if they don't like your price, they'll go eslewhere. But 1-3 hours before the morning restart, masters are rare, so I get paid...
