ok heres what happened. made 10 powerhammers using acklay bones. (all same bones)

proceeded to slice all 10 and guess what 10x 31% speed slices in a row. so now i'm pissed,

grab a crate of 25 t21's and sliced em.. guess what 23/25 sliced 31% speed 2 sliced 33% speed.

either this is the worst run of bad luck anyone can have. or slicing is completely borked atm.

please post if anyone has had something like this happen since last weeks patch.

i did 50 VKs last sunday, and got 34 of them speed sliced, a good part above 30% but the 16 others were damage from 16% (still hate it, but should be used to) to 34%.

I was a little surprised upon the repartition being 2/3 speed, but it could as well be a too small quantity to be very representative.

That's also a pain that with this crate autopulling issue we can't run huge amounts of slice to make some statistics to check if there is something going on like a ghost nerf.

I've been getting the same thing... but I'm sticking to the nothing affects slicing story... by the way, I did 5 power hammers, 5 cleavers, and 5 two handed curved swords. All speed slices of either 21 or 28% (nothing in betwen, exact numbers) except for 1 damage slice that was sub 20%.

sure i'm sticking to it too, but it gets me mad that i can't practice some testing in good situation. Especially when i hear some people argue on my server that they slice better with uality tools and shout everywhere they can that they did a 48% damage slice (strangely enough when i ask for screenies nobody replies).

ok just ran another test of 25 more t21's from the same factory run. once again 25 speed slices all 31% or 33%.. something is wrong.

Interesting. I bought 10 nice acklay bones, gave them to my WS friend who made some stun batons. Then sliced them and not a single dmg slice. Speed slices between 21-24%. Then I decided to makesome wood staffs to try out if I can get any dmg slices at all. 25 speed slices between 16-32%.There is definitely something wrong. Soon I will lose all hope and drop smuggler and pick a new profession cuzthis is getting freaking ridiculous.

Sounds a bit like buffcrafting, I'll make all my packs without an experimentation failure, then finally make an enhance quickness pack, only to get at least one failure on experimentation. So I'll make another,more failures, then another etc... After failing exp points on about 5 quickness packs I'll give up.

The doc forums suggest taking a break/logout and results tend to improve, but med experimentaion is not supposed to be "random" like slicing.

I must get about 5% effectiveness slices on psg's and 20% damageon VK's. At least it's nice to know that there are some things in life you can depend on
