I know i'm only a novice smuggler, but I am fed up with the lack of respone from the devs concerning the Revamp. I have read these boards for a long time, and the Smuggler community is easily one of the most welcoming and constructive communities out there. But we don't get our smuggler love, and the Jedi get something new every time they so much as sneeze? How is that fair? Here is my solution:
We all pick up atleast novice BH and slaughter SOE's precious Jedi. Jedi will die by the hundreds, and we won't stop until they take GM out of the Carbonite block. And, we could potentially slice the BH terminals, increase our own payout, and screw with the economy further. This would all be done in protest, and would stop when we get some smuggler love, or even some acknowledgement that we exist. The richer of us could hire master BH's, too. I know that I will start the grind to BH immediately. Anyone with me?
EDIT: Or, this alternative was suggested in a post down below.
[quote]
If we are to be ignored by everyone, then, let's ignore everyone, once nobody will be able to find a slicer theu may ask why and complain altogether, and eventually we could earn a little bit of sympathy and solidarity because people would understand our initiative (ok they would be upset at the beginning).
Try this, put your master title on and stay in coronet's starport, we're both on Kauri, so i know pretty much the population there, and when asked for a slice, just say "no, i'm on a passive strike" and pass the word to any smuggler you see there.
Take the time to explain why you do this.

Then they will nerf the BH terms.
Stop into this thread we have 5 jedi now, feel free to come up with a fresh way to torment them!

i'm not surereplacing our frustration by some hate against a part of the player base would help us. I do believe that it is possible for everyone to play together, and any attempt to get some attention form a red name shouldn't be by directing our acts against any part of the player base, jedi players, even if they get more attention, are not responsible fr the devs behaviour. That's not the jedis fault if the devs take decisions, they only do the same thing than us, they ask for fixes, the trouble is that they get theirs and we don't.
I may be hating to see jedis everywhere, i'm not the one to say they stole our devs, i'd rather say that the devs stole our game, which isn't exactly the same thing.
If we were to follow your opinion why not charging chefs of being responsible for our spice nerf? that's not about chefs, they did need a revamp, and their revamp is a good one, the fact is that we suffer from that, because of lack of long term sighting from the devs, not because of chefs asking for attention.

Its nothing personal against Jedi, it's just a means to get some attention. The devs listen to the Jedi and respond to them. If they start dying in mass quantities, the Devs would listen to them, figure out the reason why, and figure out that we want our revamp. It's logical, pure and simple. I have no prejudice against Jedi. I just see them as a means to get what we want.
And what other means do we have? We could either continue on as normal, politely posting our thoughts and suggestions, and be ignored, or we can take action, and get some of the love we have been promised and denied over and over again. The way I see it, this is a cycle. We post what we want, devs ignore us for months, we start becoming angery, and are silenced by either vague promises of a revamp or another nerf.
This is a call to action for all smugglers. Let the ruling class tremble at a Smuggler Revolution. The smugglers have nothing to lose but their nerfs. We have a profession to win. SMUGGLERS (AND FORUM CYNICS) OF ALL SERVERS, UNITE!

so you think that spoiling others is a solution?
OK, let's make the imaginative step towards this direction, instead of focusing on the beloved jedis (which may happily laugh at you when they see you coming alone to kill them), why don't you deby any smuggler service to anyone?
If we are to be ignored by everyone, then, let's ignore everyone, once nobody will be able to find a slicer theu may ask why and complain altogether, and eventually we could earn a little bit of sympathy and solidarity because people would understand our initiative (ok they would be upset at the beginning).

Take the time to explain why you do this and you'll get more attention and we could get more support than doing your way.

^^^^I stand corrected. That does seem like an excellent option, and I will edit that into my original post as well. Usually, when I think about protests, I take the violent route, so i dont usually look at he passive protest side of things.

taking our frustrations out on other players and professions wont win us any dev love or support from the rest of the player base. Besides i dont want to be a bounty hunter,i want to be a smuggler
