Thread: Advice from my Smuggler sisters and brothers
There is one full RPG town and afew other towns involved in RPG. There is a underworld getting started with one smuggler guild and afew freelancer criminals and bad guys aswell.
We do use certain simple rules in RPG that all involved are accept and use.
The Jedi population is quite high imo but thats probably same thing on most servers
I have to say I find my server (Intrepid) pretty sweet for RPing... Do a lot myself, and Serenity Valley City is an awesome base to do it in.

Siid "The" Vicious
I am currently on Starsider, and will probably never leave. I RP 95% of the time, that 5% is only to do minor OOC trades, or to assist someone new to the game.
I have been a Master smuggler since 2003, and again, I will never drop it. My character plays the dark sinister type, who enjoys killing stuff, with bombs, rockets, grenades, flames, and his DL44 XT.
He smuggles for the credits, he kill for credits, has a passionate hate for cops, doesnt get the whole "rebellion" thing, (to him they are just terrorists).
I went with MS/M-Commado/4/4/0/4 pistols. the Smuggler allows me to RP as a smuggler, the commado allows me to use all kinds of weapons, and the pistols allows me to be pretty good with the pistol.
Check out Starsider.....
My ingame name is "tsb" and although it doesnt look or sound like an RP name. His history is such that his real name is hidden from the public, and that only his closest friends and Family (PA) know it.

Europe-Infinity is not heavily populated and the Roleplaying is pretty good with Talus as one center point for RPGers.

seriously come to Sunrunner. Kyr'yxus and myself (Kohs) have a wonderful... organization you might be interested in.
we could always use a good thug/smuggler to move our... goods around the galaxy.
ya know?
lemme tell you a little about this organization of ours, OOC of course.
first off, we like to call it the Shadow Kings.
second, we throw a party every Monday night at 9pm EST (6pm Pacific).
Shadow Kings is a ruthless criminal organization with a finely polished surface of pure class.
we run spice to several communities around the galaxy, and though we have our competition (and even some enemies), we have means to deal with them accordingly.
we are loosely affiliated with the Rebellion. and by loosely i mean i prefer to stay out of galactic politics, unless it somehow benefits Shadow Kings.
and lemme tell you a bit about Sunrunner.
we were the original "unofficial" west coast Roleplaying server.
medium to light population. we're like a large town, with familiar faces. Jedi, well we have our jedi, everyone has that problem though...
we have 4 notable Roleplaying communities/cities.
and interaction between them is on the rise.
there's more than a few Roleplaying guilds. and more that just a little interest in the criminal side of things.
Joras (fishbrains) is our hometown hero, celebrity Smuggler, and there's plenty more just like him (or worse
in fact, there's a good deal of Imperial, Rebel, and independent criminal Roleplaying to be found on Sunrunner. (the overall server GCW is being won by the Rebels currently)
i myself belong to the guild LEKKU. we recently had major problems with some members and we're currently going through some directional changes. but obviously by the name you can tell that we're a Twi'lek guild.
in the past we've been known as a casual Roleplaying guild, but we had problems getting things together.
now with our new direction we're focusing more on combat, becoming like the legendary Chir'daki fighters of the X-wing novels. hopefully we can continue the Roleplaying but focus it more on us being a battle-hardened Twi'lek death machine!
so i urge you to make a new character on Sunrunner!
there's Roleplaying to be found just about every night of the week (although it's been irregular the last couple of weeks with the CU changes and all)
contact Kohs (that's me), or Kyr'yxus on Sunrunner.
hope to see you soon!
Thinking about building a new character and need to find him a good home. Have a new RP personality in mind, which goes completely against Orcajum's personality. In my mind, Orcajum has always been the consumate business man, breaking the law only because the money is there. For the most part, he's a rather moral individual, killing if he must, but preferring not to if he can get around it. His whole goal is to have enough wealth and influence to go legitimate and return home.
Talus must just be where its at.
I know a lot of people say MS/MBH. Problem with that is that you could look on the terms and find yourself there! That'd be too weird. I guess doing that you could play the "corrupt cop" role. But I think there are some interesting options if you want to think outside the box and are willing to put up with some useless profs.
Smuggler/Ranger - The loner outdoorsman type. Smuggles goods by taking routes no normal human would think of. Evades bounties with his superior knowledge of the wilderness.
Smuggler/Merchant - Legit businessman by day, shady dealer at night. Also potential to hook up with another merchant player to work as a team.
Smuggler/shipwright - Always a good idea to have a fast and maneuverable ship to help with getaways. Also helps to be able to repair the ship in tough situations.
Smuggler/Combat Medic - Not sure if they can still wield poison, but if they can, it'd be great for a bad guy.

Interesting. On Starsider Talus isn't a major hub of RP, but it IS home to the very very very best RP city on the server (think I migth be a little biased there? Nah, surely not)

There are a few good people on Talus. But Tatooine wins every time.
Check the link in my sig and you'll see a small part of Starsider's RP population in action.
