Last night a customer traded me a Vexxa Flechette pistol to slice. It traded alright, since I guess it hadn't been bio tuned to him (or whatever it's called), but it wouldn't let me slice it. Is this a bug or can't this pistol be sliced?

Had the same thing happen to me. Sais its already at its maximum output or something. not sure if some weapons are bugged or it how slicing is a tad on the sketchy side till they re-vamp it....Thus I am not slicing mine for now till the re-vamp comes.....taking no chances....i actually got a -5% slice the other day.....

the output of sicing is realy crazy. you didnt actually get a -5% slice, that's just what the system read out to you. the weapon you were slicing was probably very very close to it's maxxed cap stats, when ya slice a good weapon like that, you get lower slice results. sometimes it reads negative, but the DPS should still increase a hair.

I sliced mine, but it's never been tradeable for me...

I also came across some Katan Armor I couldn't slice as well. Is it such that some quest weapons and armor can't be sliced?

Same thing happened to me. I figured it was because I did not have the expansion, guess I was wrong.

So far...the katarn knuckler, flechette pistol, and the clone armor my smuggler has not been able to slice.....either because it was untradible or it was just unslicible.

i think it may depend on if they bio link it to themselves first. i'll test it with loot today.

I figure its because some of these new quest items aren't sliceable. I wasn't able to slice my transdoshan pistol either
