For you master smugglers out there, I was just wondering what types of resources you guys use for crafting clamps, knives and spices. If you go for the cheap stuff or the high end stuff

Quality doesn't matter from what I gather.

Clamps and knives... I usually use really really bad copper.... quality for anything doesnt matter... go as cheap as possible... you'll end up spending money on the WUK's and AUk's unless u give ur smith friend the resources.

Yeah, go with the absolute cheapest crap you can find.

I happened to have several hundred k of garbage steel and copper, made crate after crate of plk's and mol-clamps with it.
The same with spice, since there's no experimentable quality. Crap resources, good resources; identical outcome.

I'd also get a few factories running the stuff now, in case they actually do implement some kind of quality in the future.

I am fairly new to the Smuggler Profession and had a question maybe someone could help with. I was messing around crafting some of the items needed to slice with. I can make single runs of the clamps, but never found the option to make a schematic. I wanted to run off a crate of them. I tried using serveral different types of crafting stations, but nothing ever seemed to change from just using just my crafting tool. So, my question is, is it possible to make crates of clamps?

This answer may have been in a sticky somewhere, but I really want to learn this profession by jumping in and doing it. I just did not want to waste too much time if this were not possible to do.

You need to use the weapon, droid, general crafting tool and station.
