Thread: Important Upgrade Desperately Needed

I'd like to make this plea to TH, Tiggs, and any other red names that they can get a hold of. Wes, if you could run this by the other corespondents, that'd be great too. It would have a dramatic effect on all professions.
What this game desperately needs is a User Upgrade. Many of the users we have in this game simply are not up to standards for this environment.
Many of them act like they're playing a solo game at home where they can use cheat codes to get every weapon and ability in the game. Worse than that, they think that they can "win" or "finish". Hand-in-hand with this mentality is the belief that this, since it is on-line, is like Unreal Tourn. or any of the other combat games. I'm sorry, but since this game can't be won, "frag counts" don't really matter.
These are very 20th Century type players who simply shouldn't be in a 21st Century game concept. I realize that this will be a big project -- bigger than the CU and it'll probably take longer. I think it will be well worth the effort though.
Then they can work on smugglers.
