Thread: Name Your Best Criminal Experience So Far
(In character)
"Your reach has exceeded your grasp." That's a quote from our favorite slime of Naboo. Borvo is worm. Not just in body but in character. Let me start at the beginning...
Several months ago, I decided to establish a presence on Naboo. Borvo had a reputation for running a good outfit so I stopped to see him. Its always best to let the "big dogs" know when you are moving into their territory. Borvo seemed pleasant for a Hutt (that immediately put me on guard) and only asked for a cut of my take and to show my appreciation (yeah...right) by doing a few jobs for him.
Now, I don't mind putting in work but this sorry excuse for a crime boss had me flying off planet -- at my own expense I might add -- impersonating a CorSec detective, and doing a little wetwork all in the name of keeping his slimy tail out of the brink. My reward for coming within durni's hair of getting on Dustrunner's hit list? 250 lousy credits! What a worthless slug!
Needless to say, his outfit is not nearly what its cracked up to be. I told him to his face I couldn't believe such a slipshod operation was actually run by a Hutt. Now, maybe I shouldn't have been mouthing off but when a so called "Champion" comes knocking on my door to persuade me to see the error of my ways, my response is a blaster bolt to the kneecaps. But, I'm not bitter -- not really -- I just decided to hit that worthless, cheap, slimy, lying, cheating, double-crossing slug where it hurts. His bank account. He can have the swamps of Moenia, I'm going to Theed.
Borvo wants a cut of my take? He's going to have to take it. In the meantime, I'll sell my spice in his backyard for a fraction of what he charges. Muon Gold and Neutron Pixie. 8K a crate. Booster Blue is on its way. Come see my "Prescriptions" vendor just outside of Theed.
The big box is only temporary. I'm working on a nice little Twi'lek from Jabba. Now that's a Hutt that knows how to run things.

I logged into Theed Spaceport where I had logged out last night. I was answering some mail when a /tell comes over asking for 600 credits so he could get to Tyrena. Now, normally, I don't think anyone would respond to such a request, but it was worded so politely I had to. I told him "One moment..." (he actually said "Thank you". and I finished up my mail.)
I stood and examined the individual. Looked like new entertainer clothes (I think, certainly nothing fancy) and he was holding a horn of some type. He had no guild, no badges, nothing on his bio. Must be a new player, and so polite! I thought to myself "Let's make this fun for both of us" as I also was going to Tyrena. Also, I still have that Turret Code Disk from the Warrens... I don't have an exact transcript, but here's the basics...
Me: How'd you like to earn that 600 cr?
Him: Nods.
Me: I've got this disk with some sensitive data on it, but the Imperials are looking for it.
Him: Gasps.
Me: Now, I'm a Master Smuggler, but they know I have it and are looking for me, but they won't suspect you at all.
Him: You want me to smuggle?
Him: What if we get caught?
Me: Don't worry. I'll be right there with you.
Him: Ponders.
Him: Ok.
(Traded disk, bought two tickets to Tyrena and gave him one.)
Me: Ok, let's catch that ship. And act casual!
Him: Yes, sir. I mean Mr. Jeret.
(Walk towards the ship).
---Luckily for the fun, there was a Scout Trooper on the opposite entrance to the ship bay. I stopped, looking at the Scout Trooper, amazed at the cool factor. Then I noticed.
(He's gone prone.)
Him: A Trooper!
Me: Run for the ship! I'll distract him!
(He runs to the ship, I run to the Trooper. I wait until he disappears.)
(Transport to Tyrena.)
He's over halfway behind a wall when I appear.
Him: Psst! Over here!
Him: We made it!
Me: I can't believe he fell for that! Well, it's me!
(He trades me the disk.)
Me: Good job. Here's a little something extra for your trouble.
(Tipped 10k.)
Him: Gasps.
Me: Don't spend all that in one place.
Him: I won't (Chuckles).
Me: Good luck. If you need anything, come to me, ok?
Him: I will, Mr. Jeret.
Me: Good. I have some business. See you later.
(Wave.)
Him: Me too. Take Care.
(Head out, pull the Swoop, and drive home. Come directly here to tell the story.)
Well, I hope you enjoyed my story. I certainly did enjoy the adventure and helping out a new player who played it out so well. Kudos to Wailin Hornblower on Radiant, just in case you ever read this post.
