I dunno actually. I really want JtL,but I also want smuggler to alot of fun. Btw IS smuggler the proffession in the game which has most problems?

Just think about BH,ranger,Pikeman and TKA (which is a problem cause it owns too much...) Im just waiting for JtL,and dont let the problems take over the fun of playing. Now what do you think?

I don't understand how you can ask a question like that and then add a condition to it.

The "Jump to Light Speed" expansion was handled by a different team than the current live team.

I want new content in Jump to Light Speed because it is a new expansion that adds new elements to the game.

I want a good revamp because it will be bug fixes and features added/enhanced under the Smuggler profession that the developers wanted to have done since the game launched.

I do not see it unreasonable to want both of these things, and we do not need to sacrifice one for the other because, as I said previously, it is two different teams.

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

Smuggler definatly isn't the profession with the most problems. I think the biggest issue though is a revamp has been promised since about publish 2 or 3 I think and now it seems to be pushed at least till 13+ I would guess.

Does smuggler currently have a unique and useful role in the game? Yes

Does the smuggling profession actually smuggle? No

Your kidding right? The Combat Balance and GSW re-vampshould (i hope) fix major problems in every profission. The JTL teamhas nothing to do with other dev teams. Yes we are not the only profession who needs to be fixed but we have been told we would get a fix almost weekly for 9 months. Lastly we all pay $14 a month to enjoy all aspects of the game. Both JTL and all the re-vamps are needed and no one will have to choose between one or the other. Maybe you should research why smugglers were pushing for a re-vamp,how many dev teams there are and why people in this board were upset when our re-vamp was pushed back for the 12 timebefore you come in here and make uselss statments.
