I think it would be cool to have our own language, a secret lingo, to talk to eachother when were doing something smuggish. It would appear scrambled to any non-smuggler just like the Wookie language when you first create your character.
It could be applied just like any other language and it should be a higher skill in the tree. I think it would give us alot of immersion into our role. This could also be tied into the third faction thats suppose to come out with JTL.
What do you guys think?

That's a really great idea. It sounds like something we could create ourselves. Like a simple collection of buzzwords that no one other than those reading this board would understand.

In Ye Olde Engerlund there was a form of speech used by the criminal element.
One of the things that remains from that is something called highsign. A signal to local thieves that you were passing through and would not engage on any business whilst you were in their patch. It was courtesy and usually granted you the favour that your horse would be where you left it the following morning.
It took it's form in unusual methods. Certain phrases that could be slipped into normal conversation, or a rein tied in a specific manner etc.
We really, really need to have this.

I've often thought we should be able to speak Huttese.

I always heard it as "Smuggler's Argot"... either way, I like it.
