Thread: It's a Fact Poeple in game do not know about stickies.

I was on my bounty hunter to day when I got asked about investigation off a fairly established player. My answer was....
"Hang on....."
Copy and paste link for BH investigation guide into response box"
"That will explain everything you need to know better than I could in an hour or tells"
His response was great I'll check it out, thanks.
I was later on my smuggler and got praticaly the same tell asking this time about faction selling by a person I know uses the boards. I did the same thing copy and pasted and sent them to the link.
I've just done the exact same thing with a person on the valcyn boards who was asking aboutJedi Templates. He had 150ish posts.
Few weeks back we had a Ranger Blow Glowie (Can't remember his name) not using the stickies (he did admit he was an idiot
)
)TRUE FACT PEOPLE CLICK ON ANY BOARD THEY CHOOSE AND CREAT A NEW TOPIC AND JUST ASK A QUESTION.
They do not read the stickies.
They do not spend thirty seconds to check the first page to see if another post with the same question is asked.
They do not use the search engine provided (I know it's a piece of mofo but it still kinda works)
Ireally don't think I'd be surprisedif we got a creature handler came to the smuggler boards asking how to train mounts.

So very true, a large proportion of board users never read stickies or "read this first" threads. Not only here, mind you, I noticed that in every messages boards I have been on.
I always read stickies and "read this first" threads, but then again, I'm Capricorn.

A number of people DO read the stickies or do the other things you mention, and find their answer there. You never see them.

Me too, dude. Maybe that's why I have a tendancy to get so mean.

Good point by Kryxal tho, a lot surely read the stickies and we never know they did because they rarely ask questions. lol
