Thread: Attn testers: Demand SAC and Armor mitigation slices!

Without them, the new changes are about an 80% success, in my book.


I want 100%.


I see no point on us Smugglers setteling for less after all this time.


Infact, that should be a battle cry or something. "We wont settle for less than 100%" ... "And pie!"

If you don't want me to "play the forums," then I suggest you make time playing the game more rewarding and less repetitive than "playing" here!

I'll second that. Those two alone would be a majority of slices for armor. Most people wouldnt really need anything else.

I'm more interested in the SAC than the armor mitigation... I just love a nice low SAC

how low do you want sac to get? if damage slicing works fine, just get weps crafted with low sca then slice the other mods

I don't know about SAC but I can say for sure that we will NEVER see armor mitigation slices. The devs have stated over and over again that it won't be possible to lower mitigation becuse if it is they will end up with players using too good armor for their level making the game too easy. Why do you think armorsmiths can't experiment on mitigation?

To be honest there, the only thing we can experiment on with any real effectiveness is Condition.


We get one opportunity to make the Resists better and even THAT is at the cost of Condition.

we NEED to be able to slice Weapon SAC and Armor Mitigation %'s! otherwise we're not the masters of jury-rigging.

I'm not sure if you all have read the post whowing how many attacks it takes for certain weapons to "break" in the new system. Its pretty damn depressing.


Here it is if anyone missed it:

Good point. I was also reallllly looking forward to SAC slices, but whatever.

SAC I can agree with, but armor mitigation is a different story. Mitigation is directly related to profession choices and advancement, which I don't think we should be able to infringe upon.
