Finally! Something is officialy going to be tested on TC with slicing! It's not smuggling, but it seems to be pretty cool, and will probably be in high demand! We may not have all of our promised content yet, but something big is finally coming! Tonight it will be on test center, to the best of my knowledge!

Actualy, I read the entire thing. I've been going through the forums here, reading EVERYTHING there is on it, and I STILL think its awesome. I'm a smuggler till the day I die, and I take this as good news. So what if its bugged? Like the current system isn't? And its on test center anyways! Plenty of time to fix it! So what if your business selling smuggler supplies will go under? We all had PLENTY warning a LONG time ago that they would be eliminated, and you can still sell what you have, because it isn't live yet! Who cares if slicing will make stuff break occasionaly (occasionaly once the bugs are worked out that is... curently it sounds like its1 out of every 2 shots, lol ) because think about it... We slice thier weapon, they pay us... Their weapon is out of tune a week later, they come back to us and pay us again! We just keeping winning! You will all probably make a bunch more money slicing/fixing weapons than you would selling tools! Yes, its not a mini-game, but at least its not up to chance! Now a master smuggle will be able to do the best slicing 100% of the time. Not to mention we can now choose from a bunch of stuff to slice now! As for not slicing hinderance, that will screw up what the CU was trying to do. That would make it possible for players to wear armor that they shouldn't be certified to use correctly, throwing off balances. And the same goes for SAC. I may be an optomist, but when someone hands me something, I'm glad to get it.

argggg! "Good news" Gassy?

It doesn't seem to be what was advertised in In Concept and it sure doesn't seem in the least bit more interesting that what we HAD. AND, I got bored to hades with that long ago.

I fail to see the good news. It also worries me that the In Concept threads were removed so we oustensibly couldn't compare with them. And the fact that the smuggler content thread was removed with no replacement gives me pause for thought as well.

I concur.

They promised us that we would be seeing the revamp shortly after the CU. Then that had a ton of bugs that needed to be dealt with. Fair enough.

What worries me is that they could very well turn around and say "Well, you got yours in publish 19... there ARE other professions, you know". Quite frankly, if thats what they're trying to pull they can keep their patch, and I'll keep my money.
