I thought it was going to have its own interactive UI window and stuff like that. I didn't think it was going to be all text boxes. What happened?

Well, you can choose an option in each of the text boxes (which are technically UI windows!), isn't that interactive enough?

I had concerns over the whole mini-game thing. The last thing we need is a new "fun and exciting" interface when some customer comes a-calling with the 50+ weapons and pieces of armor he's been hauling around since the CU went live.

Looks like the new one gives us the ability to work on pieces the way customers want without having to worry about "vent power pack overcharge" and "utzplutz the goober module" and that's fine by me. Mini games are fun, but they quickly lose their luster. Unless it's all about fitting geometric shapes into lines with other geometric shapes and making the rocket ship blast off.

Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came but just the same I must be going.

Yeah, that minigame went *POOF* didn't it? And so did the original post that talked about it that's been on these boards for over a year. Was that due to it being out of date, or that it contained a Slicing technique alot better then the click a button one we have now?

Granted, we can choose what we want to improve, so do i REALLY want to complain??

On a related note, when this point was brought up at FF they also mentioned the mini-game.

Odd, is it not?

Not that odd since they call such things mini-games. Just a name really.

Make slicing an interesting, and even difficult, experience and the value of the smuggler profession and the sliced equipment that it produces will rise exponentially.

I'd rather do the occasional slice, with patience and care, and be rewarded through both financial and emotional appreciation =)

But I'm a smuggler noob, so don't mind me =D

Sorry, just noob. Period.

sadly, this still can be classed as a minigame. much in the same fassion as the fishing minigame.
