how come so many people on TC seem to think this is a bug.

It's TC do you really think they would wait 2-3 weeks for a weapon to break for you to test it when they could make it break after 6-7 shots instead?

Test Center is supposed to be an exact 1:1 world just like the live servers.

Unless this is on a Test Center that has frogs put on it at some point, then what is happening on TC is what would happen on live if they published it tomorrow.

Unless SOE has changed their rules on the original Test Center and they're editing publishes to make testing "quicker" or "easier".

There are missions in which you "deliver an item while hostiles attack you" in every profession. I still don't consider [Smuggler's Alliance] pilots to be Smugglers, nor 'Smuggling' - at least not any more than Rebel Pilots or Imperial Pilots might sometimes "smuggle", with a lower-case s - JFreeman - 10/6/04

They have done it in that past for those exact reasons.

But was this done on the original Test Center, or ones like TC-Bria, etc...?

I don't remember, but if it has only been done on a copy I guess there is always a first.
