Thread: Has anyone explained why we still have pistol XP for slicing tree?

that can't be too hard. just flip a darn switch. its just plain silly for shooting a pistol to make me better at slicing. have we ever been given a reason for this stupidity?

This was probably to tie in to the changes they made to the Slicing line, adding some specials in there and the ever elusive Revamp. But no, we were never given an explanation. Why explain it to us after all? Just like with slicing...give us the Plan B loot drop based system that might be ok if we could run MISSIONS to get the loot

the sad thing is having to get pistol xp for the slicing tree makes more sense then most other aspects of the smuggling profession

If you want easy, go play KOTOR and use cheat codes. I played this game because I wanted a challenge. Sadly, "challenge" doesn't fit into the fanboi, uber-1337, glow-stick mentality. Therefore, anything interesting or challenging has been removed from the game.

like they said "easier to grind" is not exactly a plus. i want it to make sense. slicing xp for slicing tree. smuggling xp for spice tree would be nice as well, but....

this new system is worse then the last one. I haven't been asked for a slice for ages. I just hundreds of people trying to sell me smuggling components. in the old system i'd get asked to slice something up to 10 times in an evening, I'd say no of course but atleast business was better

Because they dont' care.
If this isn't true let me know but I heard from a bounty hunter that there NPC's that they need to kill drop slicing loot. If that is true then how hard will it be for them to make a smuggler terminal for smugglers????
