Hi

Did a little test tonight, about Armor Break Slices Did this test to see if the slice was working properly and had any use, before it would be applied to the United Lowlands Mandalorian Armor. Tested this with Improved AB from my alt (Mswords/TKM) and with Saber AB from Elu. Improved AB gave 35% extra damage, Saber AB round 77.5%.

First: Normal AB.

Melee hit wihtout AB: 358
With AB: 482

This was without AB slice! I applied a lvl 1 slice on it, 25% reduction. With AB the damage was 451, EXACTLY 25% less damage boost compared to presliced. Let me explain it: AB adds with my armor and melee hit 124 damage. With the slice it only adds 93, which 75% of 124. So conclusion to this part is that the slice works.
AFter a lvl 3 slice (75%) the damage became 389, so only 31 damage extra for armor break instead of 124. That's a 75% difference


Now Saber AB.

Saber hit without AB: 312
With AB: 555

With a lvl 3 armor break slice the damage boost from armor break was not 243, but 182, the actual damage was 373. So that also works if you use some maths on it
So what's this slice worth actually? Is it any good? Some simple maths give us the answer: 77.5% extra damage from Saber AB, but this gets cut down with 75%, leaving 58.125% damage boost! Pretty nice! Really good for BH's. Sorry but the end is not that good. Got really f**ked up and drunk during poker night with my friends. No inspriration to finish it....

but what about critical strike slice on weapons?

it doesnt seem to work for me when i use a basic attack and see the +critical+ the damage isnt any different

I once broke three slicing knives on an armor bread.

You're supposed to use a lightsaber.

you have to use criticial hit for the crit slice to work

Also tested this, results are here: Critical Strike

As said before, it only works with critical hit

Also, important info about critical slices: Currently bugged, but should be fixed in a while.
