i didn't get very far into it. the first leg was simple and neat. i actually felt like a Smuggler for the first time in SWG when i landed in Moenia and jumped into my speeder.
i got up to the point where i have to add the coordinates of the two space stations to figure out where my next contact is located.
the whole math equation is interesting, but kinda took me out of the Smuggler mood a bit. but it does a good job of randomizing the path i suppose.
i actually bumped into Wes at the tent on Talus. we were both a bit confused about the math equation thing, but i think we're clear on it now.
i'm gonna finish it up tonight, but i'll give it an in-progress /thumbsup.
thanks Red-Dwarf!
Yeah, sorry for the math bit - it is fairly simple:
First bit in space (the Naboo-Lok run) is to add it all up, and then look at the first two digits
Second bit (the Kessel Run) is to fly to the point and then read the first digit of each co-ordinate.
I've tried to add a bit ofstory to each, but I couldn't think of another way of actually forcing you into space (any other way you could figure out the next vendor locationandbypass the bit of Smuggling in space)
Hope you enjoy the rest of the quest.

Just a quick question since I can't install TC right now: what are the "minimum requirements" to set up the quest exactly by your rules? (You mention vendors so I guess Merchant skills are a must etc.)
Is it a problem with TC? or just not enough hard disk space?
Absolute minimum requirement is 7 spare vendor slots and 13 lots (or efficiency 4 and 7 lots) with appropriate structures. Recommended is 3404 merchant as this enables greater immersion. For the higher immersion (and a way to reward people who do the quest) you need goods to Smuggle.
I don't want to give too any more details as it will be a spoiler. ![]()

hehe yeah i read that little disclaimer about actually forcing people to launch into space. it makes sense, but at first glance it's a bit confusing.
i think you've done a pretty good job with the story so far.
i have a question though, when you say Kessel Run, do you mean actually going to Kessel space? because my character is brand new and i'm not even sure i remember how to get to Kessel, or if i'm even able to get there with just novice pilot.

It wouldn't be the Kessel Run if you didn't go to Kessel!
I've checked and a novice pilot in a prototype ship can make it to kessel, I will add an extra bit of speech to the vendor who sends you there to give the space stations (for ref: Rebels - Dantooine, Imperials - Endor, Neutrals - Dathomir in each system they are on the navigation map).
