To any whom I have offended:

My intentions were not at all to get you upset. Some have stated that I was judging and accusing. I don’t know where you got that idea, but if it came across that way, I’m truly sorry.

My intentions for my posts were clear, to question whether or not flaming was productive, and if so, to gather evidence of such success. If in any way I came across as insulting or rude, again, I’m sorry.

We all have a right to be angry. I’m angry! If we have different ways of dealing with that anger, so be it! But I beg everyone to be open to other peoples opinions and ideas. That’s all I meant in my replies.

Also, I got flamed a little while ago for questioning a few players. Most of the time I agree with everyone on here. I may challenge a few players from time to time by playing a devil’s advocate. I’ve often found that if someone can assume that role, it does a number of things:

It can give us a united front when we have all of our data on the table. It can eliminate any flaws in our information. It stimulates more ideas

I never intend on flaming or proving anyone wrong. I only challenge to stimulate more discussions, in a friendly way.
