Concealing, Rangers are people who conceal themself and those who accompany them to go through hostile area, be it wild or urban. Doing this by applying colors/flora. Reflecting the more military way it requires to get people through dangerous are without running through with guns blazing.
What do you think a Combatant Rebel Smuggler should tell the Imperials?
"Uh, those are not Rebel insignia. No their not... their... ketchup stains... yeah ketchup... I need to wash my clothes."

I hope they changed conceal since when I was a Master Ranger.
/Conceal only hid the Ranger and 1 other player , not a group- and only from PC and not NPCs.

I stand corrected.
Well I am one of the last people who would deny something, even if it gets slightly redundant.

hmm ranger is more an nature profession
smuggler should be able to smuggle ....things / players
why we can evade if we are scanned....? why we not could evade the scanning itself ? for us and others ?

smugglers have % chance to evade a scan
if you give smugglers the ability to evade the aggro from faction npcs (reb combatant smuggler for example have a big % chance to get hided through a city....) and give this % to a group
that would give us a taste of smuggling things
