Thread: Master Smugglers should be able to land at all shuttleports!

I say this would be a nice perk to make us feel good! Let us land at shuttleports like Anchorheads! For the points that we pay, and the fact that we don't smuggle, we should get access to every shuttleport to land at. For instance, if you are a Rebel Master Smuggler, you should have access to the Rebel bases on Corellia and Dantooine. If you are Imperial, you would have access to the Emperor's Retreat. Master Smuggler's should either earn Jabba's Palace by completing the mission or simply receiving it when becoming a Master Smuggler.
I would say we should be able to land at player city shuttleports too. If the shuttleport disappears, then your ship transfers to the default starport on the planet like the Dantooine Mining Outpost. All of this would give the Smugglers a huge perk with JTL and possibly make Smugglers more wanted as they could travel straight to any shuttleport. Perhaps allow them to travel to citybanned shuttleports as well? That would certainly allow a more smuggler-esque experience.
I doubt the Devs would ever allow us to land at any spot on the planet we would like, but shuttleports could be a good compromise. Please post your thoughts!

very nice idea, not sure about the waypoint idea though it would kinda give free access to everyplace on the plannet cause missions spawn at waypoints. but i VERY much like the star port idea

At least let us land at buildings we own...and take off from them.

Wow thats a really good idea, perks for declaring your home is your able to land and depart from your house. They should also have that for your guild hall too.

Only for Master Smugglers though. Jeesh, we ought to get something for holding our breath till we turn purple.

So that's why so many purple names are popping up!
Anyway, yeah, I've had a similar idea in the past about landing at Guild Halls. Seriously, they look like they're designed just for that, with that big open roof.
Maybe they could at least throw us a bone and put a Multiplayer ship in the game that requires Master Smuggler for certification. You guys may know the one I'm thinking of, remeber the veteran art, the painting titled "Smuggler's Run"?

If Smuggler missions ever come in, I think it would be cool if we'd have to land at a certain waypoint (and it would show our ship landed on the ground) and then we'd continue our mission on foot. Maybe, for example, in space we're caught by a fleet of Imperial starships, and they've told our location to other NPC starports and if we land there we could get arrested. So to be safe we'd be forced to land at a "mission landing waypoint".

Then it will be nerfed because everyone would want it /cheer...oh wait no....that's bad.
