In the spirit of the two dice games that have been posted here, I bring you Texas Hold'em poker, SWG style.
Tatooine Hold'em
Agree upon buy-in. All participants head to bank and withdraw ONLY the buy-in amount. They all group with Dealer. Dealer has a standard deck of cards IRL. Dealer then assigns each participant an ascending card value. After that, Dealer draws cards from the top of the deck until all participants' values have been drawn. This determines placement around table, starting at Dealer's left. The Dealer will
then keep track of who has the button and who posts big blind and small blind. All blinds and bets are posted by /tipping the Dealer. Game starts by dealer dealing out two cards IRL to each player. Dealer then
/tells each player what their cards are. Betting commences by players stating checks, bets, calls, raises, and folds in GroupChat* and by /tipping Dealer the amount. After first round of betting, Dealer deals out
Flop IRL and states the Flop in GroupChat. Another round of betting commences with same rules as before. After everyone calls, Dealer deals Turn IRL. Again, he states the Turn in GroupChat, and betting
commences again. After everyone calls, Dealer deals River and once again, states River in GroupChat. The final round of betting commences. After betting is done, Dealer announces in GroupChat who
has the winning hand. He then /tips the pot to the winner, keeping a percentage (usually 10%, but can be agreed upon beforehand) as his fee. Game continues until one person wins all the credits. The winner
then /tips the original buy-in amount to the Dealer who /tips it to the second place player.
*Spatial may be used if spectators want to watch, however with multiple games (i.e. a tournament), GroupChat is recommended.
This is still kind of rough, because I just typed it out and haven't tried it yet. If any of you can think of some refinements, feel free to post them and I will try to incorporate them.

if you can somehow get in touch with Toryn Farr or Riis Bal-Tannis from the Ahazi galaxy you should. If you can't, then simply try to find some of their posts.
both have hosted a number of absolutely amazing card and other casino type games based on game mechanics in game.
i think they've both quit by now though =(

I think they should add in tables we can sit down and play Sabacc or some kinda variant of Texas Hold'em. I would be playing all day if they did.
