Thread: Slicing other stats?

Before the CU, slicing was an essential part of the weapons business. Since the CU, I've seen little reason to get high-end weapons sliced before I sell them.
I apologize if someone has already suggested this, but perhaps the devs can allow you to slice other weapon stats such as SAC and accuracy. This would encourage people to get their weapons sliced again and also encourage more variability in weapons crafting.
Thoughts?

We have a new Smuggler Experience coming.. where everything is magical and Jedi are rare, and we are on the Bounty Hunter terminals, and our specials are working, and spices are in demand, and the sky is lime-green, and I can go more than 24 hours with monkeys not flying out of my a$$...

Seriously, though, Vade... it would be awesome if we were able to slice something other than damage/speed or eff/enc.
For that matter... it would be awesome if we could pick which slice we were going for.
Or... if the quality of our tools mattered.
Or... if we could slice ship components.
Or... if the slicing results message matched the actual slicing results.
Etc, etc...
Personally, I have faith that in a cubicle somewhere at SOE, there's a smuggler dev with a workstation and access to code who's going to deliver unto us a logical, useful and fun slicing system.... someday.
For now, I make my money running missions and selling faction points.

Actually, I had read that a while ago. I was pretty sure that slicing would still be limited to speed and damage.
Frankly, the sarcasm doesn't bother me. If you look around, most of the professions are complaining about things being broken. It just seems to be the perpetual state of affairs with this game. But it is still worth trying to improve things. Anyway, flames or no, slicing SAC would be very valuable.
