Thread: I just thought of a silly, useful, smuggler ability!

Why don't they make master smugglers able to remove armor and clothing attachments before the item breaks? We can slice a gun to make it do more damage or speed (kinda now =P) why shouldnt we be able to tinker an attachment out of fabric?

Not that I really want to be one who advocates not giving bonuses to smugglers, but...


I'd much prefer that tailors get this sort of thing. Given the fact that clothing doesn't really need to be replaced more than, say, once per year, the chance for them to be the go-to people for saving attachments and such would be a good source of income for them. All ten of them.

SOE already seems to be good enough at giving Smugglers irrelivant skills...like crafting froggie bowls, non-functional gaming tables and shishas that you can more easily get from a low level mission.


I agree with a previous poster, give this skill to tailors or armorsmiths, I don't see what it has to do with smuggling.

I want to see more things like Bomb droids. Other profession made items, useable by us underhanded folks. I mean, honeslty, does anyone else just love bomb droids? I always have. In fact, I think my first post in the smuggler forums was about them
