My how things can change...

Two years ago, I sat in this computer chair, staring at screenshots of Galaxies, drooling over the catch phrase, experience the greatest Star Wars Saga of all time, Yours. I read the descriptions of the professions over and over and over again on Stratics, dreaming about being a Smuggler. I got the game, and progressed slowly to Novice Smuggler, but saw how uber my CH and BH friends were becoming, and diverted my path. I tried 13 other professions, every FOTM but never dropping Novice Smuggler with some vain hope I might return if it ever too, got "uber".

Tonight, I began chatting with an old friend who I hadn't really talked to in awhile, we talked for four hours about the game, how she'd returned to CH because she loved it... Then it just hit me, stop this garbage. I forsook my Exceptional Power Hammer (It is not, and will never be for sale, it belongs to a friend who quit), and all of my "Uberness".

And respecced to Master Smuggler, just like I always wanted two years ago. I've never been happier ingame.

Thanks, I needed that. All the excessive forum moderationand lack of developer communication makes me antsy and fustrated at times. Stories like these warm the spirit.
