Anybody see the new swg commercial on spike tv? at first I was kinda syked out when I saw it but then I noticed that all the clips and screenies were of groups of jedi pwning shyt. fuk that. Just futher proof that our (and the entire community in general) cries for jedi downsizing have been ignored completely. Whats the fukin point?

on a side note the clips showed a new player race, same asone of the jedi that goes with Mace windu to kill palpatine but gets pwned.that green one with all the tentacles comin off the back of their head and big black beady eyes.

those guys are already in the game, as ROTW npcs. forgot which quest I bumped into one on, but yea...

also, you're mistaken, they didn't show ALL jedi... there was one brief shot of a JEDI starfighter

They showed Jedi because face it...everyone in the world secretly gets wood when they hear the sounds ofa lightsaber. But there's no way they were talking to Jedi players. The people were coherent and form sentences...ergo we know that they must've been smugglers. A Jedi player would've looked at the camera and said "I'm a pre-pub1 uber alpha tester!! NERF NERF NERF!!"

Actually, the "wood" comes with the intro music of any SW movie *grins*

And no, only the jedi "people" seem to think that everyone wants to be jedi.

Most of the SW fans I know in RL, wanted to be stormtroopers, Rebels, Han, Boba..heck, even a few Leias.

But those RL friends? they quit the game...
