Greetings fellow smugglers.
I noticed quite a big raise in faction point costs for perks since publish 10.
If my memory serves me right an ATST now costs around 10100 fp for a human master smuggler.
With everyone grinding FS xp i wonder if this might boost fp sales?
Im working on a complete list for imperial perk costs, maybe some rebel smuggler might throw in the costs for rebel perks.
Best regards.
P.S: Just wanted to add... you people here in the smuggler forums are just plain great. I enjoy every stay here

Im not sure why they raised the price of AT-STs. They have been nerfed to hell and arent worth the time it takes, let alone 10k fp. Absurd.

I was checking the prices last night. As a wook, at capt, i think the price was 13k fp :/

prices haven't changed at all. After sitting through fp orders to get an atst and st armor for a couple zabraks, trust me on this one.
ATST still costs 18.9k faction for normal aliens, st armor still cost 17500 faction for humans and 35000 faction for most aliens. an atst for a wookie (non-smuggler) costs about 32k faction.
oh ya.... cool screenie. ATAT spawned on kauri lastnight
And AT-STs are still very cool and usefull (if not just for high level missions), especially when 5-6 people in your group have them
We make our own imperial crackdown.

There are now more imperial characters than rebels on bloodfin so now we've lost our faction perks bonuses (that stacked with our smuggler and human bonuses).
It isn't due to publish 10 but simply to server faction population changes.

the faction population has nothing to do with faction costs as far as I know. It is determined entirely by the results of the Cries of Alderaan story arc.

No, I remember reading somwhere (LONG ago) that the lossing faction recieves a slight disount to faction perks to help them stay competative in the GCW. The Cries of Alderaan arc gave a permanent perk cost reduction in addtition if they were the lower half.

I thought it was like 30% for the losing side. Hmm, haven't noticed the faction shift on Bloodfin, I'll have to look...

"Losing faction" as defined by the CoA missions

Thats because rebel perks are by default, more expensive. You had 2 discounts applying to the rebel perks, hence why they fell in line. You had the CoA bonus and the smuggler bonus. With the imperial side, you just have the smuggler bonus.

hmm. so the modifer text in the window when talking to a recruiter only gave me a 5% discount as being a master smuggler?
biceps used to cost me 1050 now 1500. non smugglers used to cost 1400 now 2000. so we benefit with no bonus while the imperials are losing the war? cause a normal guy would get a 30% off if were losing. ?
