Just popped into my head. What if slicing/any other smuggling activity, could only be performed without recourse in certain areas? back alleys, cantinas, out in the woods, nym's stronghold, jabba's palace, etc. Otherwise you'd have stormtroopers, or police forces, or what have you come after you. It would add to the smuggler feeling imo, and i'm sure the RPers would ejnoy it. Course I also want to see docs forced back into med centers, and jedi forced to put their lightsaber away in cities, so maybe I'm just some extremist nut...

I like the idea, except i see how easy it could becomeone of the "He who shouts loudest get's the last 'slice'" kinds of scenario... Which is exactly what slicing is at the moment (well not exactly at this moment since everyone seems to be on slicing strike) so how can it be any worse. But yeah i understand what you're saying... Then again i'm an extremest nut too (no slicing in public, no spices ON THE BAZAAR, no TALKING about spices in front of troopers, heavier fines on spices/sliced items... you know the drill)

thats a kew idea but alot of work and you know how SOE feels about work when it comes to smugglers

yes yes..docs back to the med center. if entertainers would stop gethering right in fron of the entrance for competition and get back into the bar area, that would rule too. actually use some of them side rooms..
i agree with the smuggling part as well.
