Does it have an area attack, or just look like the launcher pistol?

Just has the launcher pistol skin and sound effects. Fires a non-AoE red energy bolt.

And fires it a really short distance. I stuck mine to the wall of my shop, it's totally inferior to any CL 54 wep.

I can throw a Jawa harder, faster, and farther than that pistol.

Ever looked at post CU launcher pistols? All the ones I've seen as well as converted ones don't do area attacks anymore...just a small amount of damage. If I am mistaken then please let me know, maybe all the ones I've seen are bugged converted launcher pistols. I have three converted launcher pistols, pre CU, that no longer have area damage.
