Whats the max damage slice (on weapons)and max effectiveness slice (on armor) that will be able to be done after the revamp?

We don't know.
To add on, there is potentially more to weapons and armor that will be done instead of just speed / damage and so forth. They are adding new stats to weapons and new types of resistances and so forth, so essentially the current system will not work hardly at all on the CURB stuff.

To put it simply, if you read the "In Concept" documents, you know what we know. Anything beyond that is pure speculation.

I've heard word that slicing won't be an absolute % like it is now, as that leads to imbalances on the high-damage weapons, but that it'll depend a lot on the quality of the item. Basically, the worse a weapon is, the higher % improvement your slice will put on it, and vice versa--so for (a wholly illuminative, not-based-on-real-numbers-at-all) example, an 80-160 dmg scout blaster might be able to be improved by 30% with a slice, pushing it to 104-208 damage, but a Krayt-enhanced 80-250 blaster might only be raised, say, 20%, to 96-300. And this would be from the same quality of slice--the difference in % would be dependent on some scale of weapon uberness that tries to cut out the enormous advantage a krayt-enhanced/looted weapon has over an unenhanced crafted model.
The numbers there are just for the sake of example, and I only heard that from one of those posts that tends to get deleted in a hurry, so take it for what it's worth. But it does seem like the sort of system that could get introduced to help maintain balance in combat, so it's not totally crazy. /shrug

Revamp? What Revamp? And what missions are you talking about? And what visability? There is no such thing here.

It is something to consider though. I figure we only have about 2 more years until the revamp hits TC, about time to get ready don't you think???

Nah, we have at least a year and a half's worth of beer and pie to go through... might as well relax and enjoy until then.

Its all so clear to me now.
The "Man" is trying to fatten us up with Pie and Beer so when our content finally arrives, we're all too old and fat to do anything about it!
But do you think that will stop me from eating pie and drinking beer? Hells no!

I think he means Jabbas theme park. Anybody can do the missions out of jabaas theme park, smuggler or not. But people won't think you're cool unless you're a master smuggler.
