any of my fellow smuggs play planetside? Id love for us to start some sweet outfit over there. I can only imagine combining beer, pie, and huge battles.... anyone up to play post a reply.

just get it from direct2drive for 20, then burn the install file.

Or if you have the bandwith download it straight from SOE.. hehe

you can edit the command line from the LaunchPad to download PS and be ready to play.

Yeah, I play Planetside with station access. VS Emerald.

You can buy a subscription key online . . . what djlowballer was saying is that you can buy the game from Direct2Drive and it will give the subscription key you need to play.

Yeah i play Planetside, was actually my first MMORPG (more like MMOFPS).

I play on the Emerald server on the NC side. Went on there today....was dead as hell.

I miss the old days on there.....once fought for a bridge NC vs VS for over5 hours.....for a bridge....hundreds of folks on each side...it was amazing.

Oh yea.. i remember those. I was defense specialist and frontline medic for NC on Werner.Mines FTW. I loved tower fights alot. We once held a tower with 3 combat engineers and 2 grunts for quite awhile against overhelming odds. The TRhad serious problems getting thru the minefield and the sentry guns.

Fun where those Hotdrops with several Galaxy Transports

Cliff Diving and Down Hill Racing in a Vanguard was a blast, thanks to the crapy physics engine hehe

everyone is running in the caves for bfrs. I run emerald NC too. My new vice is flying reavers and mosquitos underground throught the tunnels. soo fun. There are still some huge battles, NC is just the ...loser on nc these days

Orbital strike pretty much put an end to those huge long-lasting battles outside. I remember the days when you took care of your AMS and it took care of you, then the area became like a fortress. Now one CR5 cloaker spots your AMS and resets the battlefield.
