Are you not allowed to slice any weapons that are already bio-linked? I have a Jawa Ion Pistol and a Trandoshan Hunting Lance, both bio-linked to myself, that I am not getting any slice option for, and yet my Trandoshan Supressor pistol, which is not bio-linked to anyone, will slice just fine.

it is my assumption that any weapons that were sliced Pre PUB 19 will not say they are sliced...but they are unsliceable....if thats not the case here then i guess u cant slice bio linked items

I can confirm both these: My preCU weaps non sliceable nor my biolinked weapons. This must be a /bug or a shortsighted error(my vote) because it is unfair to those who actually decided to use the ROTW weapons and simply not display them. I would hope this would be fixed...like a wipe of all biolinking in game or making preCU and biolink weapons sliceable.

None of my new weapons are sliced, I held off slicing because I know about the bugs and the impending changes. Just doesn't work with bio-linked items, if they actually have a bio-link, I guess. The option doesn't even show, even on pre-CU sliced weapons the Slice option still comes up, it just won't do anything.

Why the hell do they even have bio-linked weapons? Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?

Is there any word on whether or not they are going to allow us to slice unsliced weapons that are bio-linked? I have some very nice weapons that are bio-linked to me, none of them are sliced (waiting for the new system), and then it turns out I can't slice them? That hurts.

Dunno, I think we can do it. Though I haven't tried much slicing for people yet post pub19.

This really needs to be addressed by devs. There are a lot of bio-linked items out there that people were waiting to slice until after Pub19. Now those people *could* have gotten them sliced pre-19 and it would have worked, but now they are SOL. Heck even I waited to slice some of my gear until after pub-19 and am SOL.

probably the same guy who thought loot drops were a good idea for slicing components. or the same guy who thought it better to re-vamp ID a year ago and not to give Smugglers any RE-vamp.

Um, you can slice up to the component parts and then come back later and finish the slice with components. Anyhow, I tried on quest reward bio-linked (Katarn) armor and it would not slice. I was able to slice factional armor for someone. So I don't know what the limiting factor is on being able to slice, as you cannot say bio-linking automatically disallows slicing.
