<snip>

Impact Deflection:
Level 1 | 20% Armour mitigates damage | +25% Customisation | No Components
Level 2 | 40% Armour mitigates damage | +25% Customisation | Finely Crafted Toolkit
Level 3 | 60% Armour mitigates damage | +25% Customisation | Powered Motivators (75%)

Hardening:
Level 1 | 1% Absorbtion | +15% Customisation | None
Level 2 | 2% Absorbtion | +35% Customisation | Trandoshan Intraframe
Level 3 | 3% Absorbtion | +50% Customisation | Mandalorian Intraframe (100%)

<snip>

hi, i am trying to decide what slice between these two to slice armor with, which would be more effective.

see i am not sure what to expect from either of these two, the impact deflection says 60% armor mitgate

damage; what exactly does this mean... and 3% absorbtionof hardening, ..sure as hell would think

60% armor mitgateiong damage would be more useful than 3%?

Can anyone fully explain these ?

Impact Deflection is the chance that your armor only takes 50% condition damage instead of the full 100%. Basically your armor will last longer this way. At 60% your armor should last around 30% longer. It provides you with no extra protection.

Hardening means YOU have a chance to take 50% damage. Obviously the chance is very small.

absorbtion = damage done to you
deflection = damage done to armor (decay)

Personally, I harden all of my armor.

Because... I like it when my armor is hard.
