Haven't seen anything like this yet, so thought I'd start something off.
Like many I'm a bit like a kid in a sweet shop with the choices of different slices available. Just wondering if anyone has had any thoughts on some good slicing combos.
If they fix the tier 3 damage slices, then yeah, that's not a bad option, but I was wondering in the case of us mere mortals who have more chance of polishing Vader's helmet than seeing an Illegal core booster or other upper-end slicing component, what combos would be good.
I'll kick off with a 'General purpose weapon improvement' slice:
Level 2 Damage (+4%, 40% customisation)
Level 2 Speed (+4%, 45% customisation)
85% customisation, only needs 2 simple toolkits.
Seems pretty affordable to me - personally I'd charge about 25k for this if I supply the tools. Not much chance of running into damage caps, no need for uber loot components. Only down side I can see sf the lack of possibility of further slicing, but it's more for an everyday weapon rather than something special.
What do y'all think? Any better ideas?
It might be nice to have a kind of slicing menu in your bio

8% Damage
2% Speed
3% Critical
Works out to 100%. Nice little slice. Worked pretty well for my laser carbine last night.

Now I'm really confused.
I work that slice to be more than 100%.
8% damage: 60%
4% speed: 45%
3% Crit: 20%
Are my figures wrong?

No, but mine may be. I'm at work so I can't look... it may be 2% speed.
*edit* Yep, I was, should be:
8% Damage
2% Speed
3% Critical

If there's room below the cap, that's the best weapon slice that I've found. I also offer:
- 7% Speed, 2% damage OR 3% Critical hit
- 5% Critical hit, 2% damage, 2% speed
Those are cheaper options.

Here's an armour one for ya:
Armour break 1: 20% customisation, 20% armour break reduction
Hardening 2: 50% customisation, 2% absorbtion
Deflection 1: 25% customisation, 20% mitigation
Not sure what that would do to the encumberance, but it only takes 1 tool; Trando interframe.
