Because of its cult following in the forums, you get firefly on dvd and absolutely love it
Ive watched about 8 episodes and it is a fantastic series. Sadly i didnt enjoy it with beer and pie, but i think curry and wine is just as good

I tried watching Firefly once, didn't really get too into it. Then again, I've never seen the first few episodes.
BTW, I caught the end of Firefly on Friday night, and noticed a scene that seems identical to one in the trailer for the upcoming movie Serenity, and the characters seem the same, but not sure. Is this movie based off the show?

The Firefly-class ship they use in the show is called Serenity. So yes, the two are very much related. The movie is supposed to happen sometime after the last episode of the show. (which was never really treated as a last episode, just the last one able to be made). So gobuy Firefly on DVD and go see Serenity so we can get a continuation/end to the series.
And we'll allow your curry and wine...but you have to eat it with chopsticks.

Serenity is set 6 months after the last episode made of the series
... I just hope they don't round it all up, but rather leave a large scope for more movies and/or more seasons (some of those TV suits have got to realise it's a good thing once the movie hits, surely
).

Personaly the train episode of Firefly would be a great smuggling mission. it was on last week on friday, and the entire time i was watching it. im thinking wow thats a smuggling mission. guy gets name and address, guy meets contact, guy aquires goods, guy double crosses contact and gives goods away LOL great, i wonder how much smuggling xp you get for a botched attempt lol

Should make smuggling xp/reward differ from how hard the mission was for you/did you play your character like you should.
When talking to the NPC and picking your response (there's the sarcastic, the good natured, thebad natured, the greedy, etc), that should set your character's 'allignment'. Now say you give a greedy reply "Sure, I'll deliver the goods. (Unless they're worth more to me somewhere else...heh heh heh...) Oh what? I said nothing." During the mission, you discover the goods are not so rare where you're taking them, but super rare on another planet. You go there, search around (since this is hard and you don't know who to look for, and sometimes might not find the harder road) and might sell them to someone else. Woot Bounty! More risk = more reward, rewarding you for your greed.
Reward for good natured and bad natured might be like...I dunno. Good and bad stuff. Not-money-type thing.

it's supposed to be a trilogy. i imagine a lot will be decided once th emovie is released and the box office numbers get in.
if it gets a good turn-out, then there should be 2 more movies in store for us fans.
