Just wondering if anyone has tried any of these yet for their armour or their friends armour, the slice i tend to do is enhanced resilence tier 1 and deflection full.

I was looking at what hardening does and if im reading it right there is a 3% chance of it mitigating 50% of the damage from a shot am i readin this right? and if so is it really worth it?

Thanks for any help

I use a full hardening slice on the 8100-Energy Ubese I wear for BH NPC missions. It will show a little "+Armor Save+" over me when the hardening soaks up the damage. It's not often but I feel it's helpful - because I realize that in those cases, I'd have taken twice as much damage as I actually did.

The Resilience 1/Deflection 3 slice is a good slice if you want your armor to last a lot longer - I applied this to my alt's Katarn armor and even after heavy combat at the Village it's still in terrific shape. Hardening 3, however, is sort of the opposite - your armor is taking the damage for you, it's more helpful in combat but it will wear out quicker. Personally I'm not too worried about that - armor is supposed to take damage instead of me, that's its purpose, right ?
