Am I the only smuggler that's really depressed with the Jump to Lightspeed info we're getting?
We get ONE freighter? That's it? And it's a YT-1300???
What about the YT-2400? The HT-2200? Bulk freighters? Mon Cal freighters... There are HUNDREDs of other freighters besides the YT-1300... But for us, it's our only choice.
Whee.
While I'm at it... Why are they inventing starfighters for this thing? There are even MORE published starfighters in the SW universe than there are freighters. Hutt Fighters??? You gotta be kidding me... If they were truly "Hutt" fighters, no in-game character would be able to fly 'em just due to the cockpit size.
I'm sorry this sounds negative. I'm one of the greatest fans of this game, bugs and all... Very seldom do I worry about the nature of the MMO game... Things change and bugs happen... Nature of the beast... But so far EVERYTHING I've heard about JtLS is just depressing the heck out of me.
Anyone else?

Also, some of those other freighters are larger capital class size ships.I really don't think players will be getting any ship in the near future that REQUIRES more than one player to fly (think of how much that would suck, you wanna go somewhere but none of your crew is online).

Well this is just the first release batch of ships i'm sure more will come later on. I'm looking forward to the faction point sales myself... i'll be rich beyond dreams lol

I'm with you, buddy. I was pretty angry when I heard the YT-1300 was the only freighter.
WHY did it have to be the damn YT-1300? The last thing we need is a billion Han Solo wanabees flying around! The YT-1300 (Falcon) is much too closely related to an iconic SW character to have it a ship on it's own.
C'mon, we need different freighters! Otana YT-2000, YT-2400, Maccrow Freighter? This would be greatly welcomed additions in the future!

I watched the JtLS trailer and reacted with an unenthusiastic *YAAAAAAAWWWWWWN*...
While that trailer may represent what SWG *could* be...that is not the reality of the game. I wasn't impressed with the production programmed by SOE to look like an appealing game when I know what the reality is.
Right now, the only thing keeping me going is the hope of the Smuggler revamp. If that turns into further disappointment, I'm outta here faster than you can say "Lineage 2"...

From everything I've been told about lineage 2, Shadowbane is the better of that type of game which says alot since Shadowbane blows baby seal chunks farther than a drunk eskimo. That came from NCSoft fanbois also.
