Just a question is all. I really dont use my pistol anymore....well i really havnt used it in 6 months. Luv TK, but feeling the urge for pistol once more. So Im collecting tapes, and my question is this. Can ya hit 1 sec LDs at master pistoleer with +25 pistol tape mods?
If so do you use a speed slice or a dmg slice gun to pull it off? Or do you even have to go as far as master smug master pistol master marksmna for the xtra 5?

I think somebody figured one time that you could use any pistol with a speed of 2.0 or less and manage a LD every second with Master Pistoleer...without tapes...

I'd have to dig up the speed formula and input the numbers to double check it though...

for personal experience, I have a 1.3s Krayt FWG5 and hit LD once per second as a Master PIstoleer...

I'm not sure about this, but I heard a commando once say he could Last Ditch every second with his launcher pistol with +25 speed from tapes. Maybe he just had novice commando master pistoleer andthe dirty fight ting line, not sure. Still.....talk about a turret killer.

I would tend to doubt it with a commando unless he used a launcher with an incredibly low speed or had some mods from BH or Pistoleer. I believe a Master Commando will still have only +30 speed. That's less than half of a master pistoleer and even with +25 in SEAs, still only up to +55. That's about the same as stances III or IV in Pistoleer I believe.

At Master Pistoleer my 1.4 sev Geo Blaster still needs 1.5s per LD. I woul hit the cap for LD at 81 pistol speed

Yes, I have such a tape and I can fire anything once a second. Uncluding a pistol with 4.0 speed. Best investiment you will make is speed tapes, it increases your output damage more than any krayt will.

I have +14 in tapes and can LD every 1.5 seconds with a 3.2 speed pistol.

It looks like +20 is gonna be the magic spot, because the new DE-10s are 4.5 speed right out of the box.

I believe the speed formula is something like this...

Speed of gun(Speed mod/100*delay of move)=rate of fire.

Anything under one is at the speed cap.

Master pistoleer w/o Master Marksman you are at +74 to pistol speed and I believe its a 4x delay on last ditch.

I know that I can crank them out pretty damn fast with any of my pistols.
