Hi fellow Smugglers!
Derec Hattrix is back. I had to lay low for about 6 months due to SEVERE Imp pressure on me, and a crappy SWG product from SOE...... oops was that out loud?
Anyway .... I'm back and ROYALLY confused with ... well ... just about everything in the game.
I respecced to:
Master Smuggler
Master Pistoleer
Novice BH
History:
I was in SWG Beta 1 and played as Master Smuggler (and Master Pistoleer and Master TK) up until Jan 2005. The lag, lack of FUN content and bad gameplay lead me to WoW (which is an amazing game). Now that the CU is out and faily stable, I want to see how game play has changed.
I know there are FAQs and Stickies, but it's either outdated or too involved for me to get ... yet. I'm looking for a few pointers about the NEW slicing, FP selling, combat and any other TRIX of the trade (pun intended).

Ahhhhh ... I'm not a Jedi (nor do I play one on TV) and my avatar pic will change right away! Sorry!
I don't want to go the Jedi route ... Just be a Smuggler.
Anyway ... WHY is now a bad time to come back?? Fill me in.

Just read the FAQs or Slicing Changes posts and all that jazz. That will fill you in. Theres a lot that has changed and its the most detail we got so far.

I don't know if i'd actually call it stable. Maybe after the next dozen or so publishes they have planned. If you left due to lack of content you might want to give it another six months or so as most of the new content is bugged anyway.
Yah, considering the reasons you left,I would suggest giving it another six months.
