So i've gotten into the habit of slicing mines... just the 2% speed slice... before throwing them in bases.
Does it work? not that it really matters but its a free slice, so I was just curious if it meant anything.
Thanks,

The only thing it does is make you say "what the hell was that? It took a sliver off my health. Oh well."

Ummm, minefields are actually pretty lethal now. They are a enormous pain in the ass when you are trying to raid a base with a fully stocked field, especially when people drag the mines all over the place and kill all the groups at once.

Yeah, I accidentally drove over a minefield. It was a fairly quick trip to the cloner for me.

Wow went over one last week and all it did was blow up prettily. Maybe I'm tougher than I look. Or it was bugged.

Hehe, last week a small imp guild on Bria were trying to make a name for them selves by surrounding a prominent rebel town with PvE bases to lag out the place (A large coalition of imp guilds already did once this a few months ago). We went to take down a few and a group of imps were sitting there loading the minefields as fast as they were using up the mines. I got killed by mines and rezed 4 times in a 10 minute span, mainly due to people dragging the mines behind them as they ran.

Do you use thread and toothpicks along with an elastic band?
Then tape it back together before it detonates on you?
Way to go "MacGyver"...

speed slicing = adding grease to the trip mechanism.
XG Mines (faction bought) are already capped damage, and i'm not going to waste simple kits on crit... although mines that crit might drop a jedi.
