heh, there are usually a few threads on the first page at all times about slicing prices, too high, too low, some kind of unification, bulk specials, and so forth.
You charge what you want to charge. Ask around other smugglers on your server and check supply and demand. Others may be charging 5K, some maybe 10K if nobody else is slicing, or maybe even less than 5K.
At least, for the most part, it seems as if 5K is the general concensus that a lot of smugglers are gravitating toward. When dealing in bulk, like several sets of armor or crates worth of weapons, then perhaps a deal can be worked out.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I had started making my business with slicing, then "kung-fuing" on Dant, then spices, and now I'm going back to slicing. It all depends on what you can charge and get away with, don't undervalue yourself (especially a master).
I make my own tools, have factories...I charge 8k with a deal for bulk items.

10k is the going rate on Intrepid for slicing. I cut the rate down to 7500 if it's a large order though, like 100+ items.

Heh, I'm a 0/4/2/4 Smuggler on Starsider and buy supplies in bulk cheap. Buying supplies in bulk allows me to charge less. After two or three slices i have made back all of my money and can still do another 21-22 slices, and all of those slices are my cut of the pie. I charge 3k to slice anything, but yeah, most people on my server charge 4-5k. Too bad I put slicing aside for a little bit as I get Master

Hello to all smuggler,
Recently I had sliced a lot of stuffs, mainly for friends and guildies to avoid the add on to a chuckle for smugglers. However, now that I am trying to expand my business, how much should I charge per slice when I do like 300+ slice?
As for regular slice like under 10 items, I charge 5k per slice, is it cool? or over charge?

I still do the old 100 credits per % increase thing. Some guy was screeming to me because my prices were too low. He kept saying charge 5k a slice. Should i change my way of business?

You don't have to, but it would be nice if you did

K, i was just slicing in coronet and i decided to change it up a bit. So i just asked the line of people how much they would want me to charge. I said, "should i pay 5k, 10k, or 100 credits per %." and they chose 5k so thats what my customers wanted, thats what they got. Lol, im glad i charged 5k per slice, cause this guy starts adding flamethrowers in the trade window, and the little scroll bar is getting smaller with all of the flame throwers, so it was just one after another after another after another, then a factory crate of em, then more and more and more. it came out to about 300k for taht guy. It was my biggest pay from slicing so far, and ive been master for less than a week. Im pretty satisfied with how im doing. lol.
