Got one!
My first 45% slice...and two 40% on the same set of armor. I was psyched!

First off, Congrats! That's awesome, we should all be so lucky!
Second, any pictures?
Third, any hints? Did you do anything differently before these slices that you think may have had an impact? Just curious....

Pictures? Nah....Just kept on slicing. I had two other customers behind that one and the lag at the mining outpost on Dantooine was terrible.
And I just did the same as always, slice, apply clamp, cut the wires, rinse, repeat.

I have been getting really awesome armor slices lately too. I got 2 45% encumb slices on the same set and all the others were in the 25-35 range. Thats the way its been going for the last 4 sets of armor. weapons on the other hand, is a different story. ALWAYS getting speed slices when I want damage. I sliced about 12 weapons for my guild the other day and about 8 of them got speed. As for that question, I personally have not been doing anything different during or before my slicing. It just seems like my slices go in cycles. For a while I have horrible luck, and then for a while I will do very well.

Congrats! Those 45% slices are always awesome. The really strange thing is that my very first two armor slices after I made Master were BOTH 45% slices!! (Been downhill since then, hehe). One was a set of gloves, and I don't remember the other item.
