Thread: Terminal slicing in groups.

Heya =)
A quick question just to clear up something that I've been trying to look up but have been unable to find.
When I first started down the smuggler path and made it to slicing 1 I was grouping with some friends and after slicing a terminal they replied "Oh, I guess you can only slice them for yourself right now." and told me that the smugglers they usually group with can get higher pay outs for the entire group's missions.
Now, I must admit I've only been playing for a bit less than a month, and my grouping experiences have been some what limited. My question is, is there a point where smugglers are able to garner better results for the entire group instead of just themselves? Or are my friends just being stupid? (Because it wouldn't be the first time.)

from what i've seen, if you Group. you get a bigger rewards from the terms.. sliceing at that time dose give a bigger bonous. so that when you do the sliced missions, they payout is beter, bit i haven't seens a "group slice Bonus" but i could be wrong.

I am Master and no one in my group gets higher payouts. Just me. If that WERE the case, we would be a very well sought-after commodity! Every smuggler in the game would be hanging around Dant or somewhere....

Well, they can benefit by helping with your missions.
Example, I was out on Dantooine with a friend. I pulled my two biggest pets out to raise the difficulty some(she was just starting on Novice Carbineer). I then slice missions that we'd normally get for fifteen grand for upwards of thirty thousand credits. The rest of of your group will benefit by staying with you and helping you finish the missions, and when your mission is over, you'll share the *increased* reward. Basicly, each time we finished one of my missions, she was getting double what she was getting for her twelve-fifteen grand missions(since being so helpfull, I went with her to keep come of the trouble off her back).
Sure, I was taking a hit by getting only half the reward I would have gotten, but hey, I was still getting more than without slicing them.
