Ok this weekend i finally got triple master. but now my dilemia, TKM kicks some major arse. so now i never use my pistoleer skills. should i give them up to pursue other intrest or should i wait for the revamp in a hope that pistoleer will be fixed? right now pistoleer is just taking up valuable skill points. what do my fellow smuggler think

TKM does kinetic damage only. When you come up against those 100% kinetic mobs (NS elders for example) you'll be happy you can still switch to pistols to drop that bad boy.
Of course, if high end mobs aren't your cup of tea you can drop it because, with the exception of the above, TK is the cat's a$$!

Congrats!
Keep Pistoleer, though. I was fighting some Crystal Hunter or something the Jedi on Dantooine sent me after. I started with TK but wasn't doing very much. In fact, it took so long, I was about to hit my Muon downer, so I feigned. Got up after recovering from the downer and went back at him (he was only about half HAM). I started with a bleed shot from my pistol, then decided since he wasn't shooting back, I'd just run ahead of him shooting all the while. I reapplied the bleed as necessary, and eventually he fell. I took much less damage that way, and I could keep him bleeding, so the last half was a bit quicker. It was nice to find that pistols can still be very useful in battle.
EDIT: Also, there's the damage type variety, as the previous poster mentioned.
