I've been a master smuggler for over 6 months. I rarely refuse sliceing buisness unless I'm really busy (so that means I slice ALOTT)

I have never, EVER got a 35% weapons slice

Well last night I was contacted by a member of an allied guild and asked to slice 3 weapons. I told the fellow city milita member that Enhancements for milita weapons are free.

So I start to slice her weapons

1st Slice Vibroblade Damage 35%

2nd Slice Sword Damage 29%

3rd Slice Curved sword Speed 35%

So my question is was it Luck? or have others noticed an increase in Slice % lately.

I am not even a master and last night I got my first 35%. I never hit 30 before. Just a coincidence?

just luck. and to the 2nd poster i'm assuming that your 35% was an encumberance slice.

i got my first 35% speed slice yesterday on a pistol.....

Hmm I'd say lucky. One of my clients a fellow smuggler but not a slicer anymore needed some vks done. Went to his house and started slicing. Out of a crate of 25I hit all over speed and damage. 19% speed being the lowest and managed afew around 30% damage but only one at 34%.

I have never hit a 35% speed, damage, or effectiveness slice that I'm aware of. I started slicing for a major armoursmith on my server early this year and I would estimate that I've sliced around 3000 pieces, possibley even closer to 4000. I've kept my eye on the slice numbers and have not noticed one 35% effect slice yet. I've had plenty of 45% enc slices, more than I can count. Just had one Thurday night. Normally I have at least 100 pieces to slice per session and I usually get a 45% enc about every other session. I've even had three 45% enc slices in one night. But never the magical 35% effect slice. I've hit 34% effect oodles of times, even had consecutive 34% effect slices a few times. I really don't know what to say. I know that tool quality doesn't matter, but just for the record the AUK's are usually around 95% and my knives have been 91%-96% the whole time. So don't even bring up the old "maybe tool quality does matter" line. The armour I slice usually has a base of 70% or 71%, give or take a few points. Is it possible that the system doesn't "waste" perfect effect slices on armour that a 28% slice will bring to 90% base effectiveness? I doubt it, because I've gotten lots of those 34% slices on armour like that and those are "wasteful" if you will. I know that it's a random thing, but it just bothers me that luck, the slicing gods, or randomness itself hasn't smiled on me yet Watch me get my first 35% eff slice on some bone armour bicep for a noob one day

It is just luck, nothing more. Having been slicing for 6 months, I have seen two consecutive 45% encumb slices and two consecutive 35% weapon slices before. I have seen two 15% slices followed immediately by three 32%+ slices.Just enjoy it when it happens....

ONE THING I HAVE NEVER YET SEEN: A 35% Effectiveness slice on armor. Nine 34% slices, but never a 35% slice.

I have had 1199 effectiveness slices total, so I'm suspecting that the max effectiveness slice on armor is only 34% instead of 35.

Can someone provide an HONEST screenshot of a 35% armor effectiveness slice?

Actually last night I had a simialr experience I offered to do free slicing for anyone who showed up at my hunt and well I get 2 45% on armor the most I have ever gotten at a single time. Always when you aren't charging drat.
