but be warned .. rank doesnt help avoid detection for sliced weapons anymore

Care to tell me how I'm supposed to "try out" the system? I'm not up for "trying out" looting mobs for what I need to practice my trade when I had the tools on hand.
People have a right to complain about bugs and lack of information.

And this hurts SOE how exactly? People have been playing without slices and earning their own faction since the CU came into being. Smuggler has been borked since dirt was invented. No one has produced a major outcry, except for the smuggler profession. I don't see anyone that isn't a smuggler giving any sympathy to this profession because their own professions are so out of whack. So in reality, you are hurting no one but yourself and others who might depend on your services to get what little enjoyment we still have in this game. Patience is the key here. They know things are broken, they know (believe me) that things aren't as they should be, and maybe, just maybe .. one day it will all be fixed (in a perfect world, of course). I wouldn't hold my breath though. Keep on playing, keep on looking to the horizon and just enjoy your game to the best of your ability.

Here here... every publish makes this game worse than I thought it could ever get. I don't know why I keep, playing... guess it is the people. BUt good news I ahve been playing WoW and CoH much more latly, hopefully I will be able to kiss this crappy game good bye for ever.... damnit I am paid through the end of spetember, guess you will here my complaining until then.
