Thread: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT!
I'm not going to do anything. I'm not going to give them another idea, another "constructive" thought, I'm not going to do JACK for them. Will that "show'em?" No. But it'll make me feel better. I'm too pissed right now to care HOW that affects them, if at all. I'm not going to do one damn thing.
I might stop slicing and spicing altogether, and just keep the title. I might retire to full time "non-tree" activities like running my gaming association (organize the betting pool) and fencing rarities for suckers who don't know what they've got (buy a lightsaber crystal for 250k. Sell it for 400k or more). But i'll probably keep slicing because I like the money and it keeps me in the crowd where I can watch what's going on.
But I don't want any more of their content. They can keep their dungeons. They can keep their caves. They can keep their mandalorian armor. They can keep all their bells and whistles bull**edit**. I'll play Star Wars without the developers and it'll be more like Star Wars. They can smoke a turd in hell.
I'm seriously considering cancelling my account until they fix the revamp.
The game has gotten so it's only fun if you're uber. I don't have the time or desire to become this month's uber template.
So much for being a smuggler.

We have the ability to involved the whole player base.
We need this information out there where people are aware. My guild leader wants 6 suits sliced. Whats he gonna do when I say boycott! And the next says boycott!, and the next..... The player base wont have armor nor weapons, wont be able to hit the their bases, etc.
Think about the possibilities.....

What you fail to realize is that, while it may seem we have that power, it would all balance out over time. Sure, for a while sliced equipment would still be around, but with decay it would eventually fade from existence and everyone would be on equal footing again. Prices on powerups would rise, since that would be the main replacement for slicing services. Then, of course you would still have the few hold-outs who would still be slicing (probably at inflated rates), or even those who are "boycotting", while at the same time still slicing for guildmates or doing underground slicing work on the side.
If you really take a step back and look at it from a different perspective, this game can really do without Smugglers altogether. Artisans provide powerups, which are basically temporary slices which are guaranteed to be the "slice" that you want. Docs and Chefs provide better buffs than spices, and with no downer even. All that leaves us is our pistol skills, which basically match Pistoleer...except for feign death and a few damage mods. And any faction point farmer can use /delegatefaction and sell off excess faction points.
