A chick smuggler from Scylla and myself talked to TH, she actually knew him somehow, anyway he took our ideas in, he said he knows weve been in pain 
and he guarantees that we will love smuggling once JTL comes out. Is that you Whiteness, the chick in the pink?

Actually they never said that we would for sure get to pick our slice. GreenMarine only said that that was an idea he liked and was still playing with.
As far as fixing feign, I was answered that it is indeed working the way it was intended but that there may be a bug in the range allowing mobs to reaggro from further away than they should.
On an interesting note GreenMarine said that he wants to allow smugglers to use whatever type weapon they choose with their specials. Pistols, swords, carbines etc...

LOL, if she was really hot it was most likely Veela from Scylla. She gave us an update from E3 too.

like it says, this is 2nd hand info. Someone posted this in a larger post, but I just cut down to the smuggler specific stuff:
- Pikeman, Carbineer, and smuggler will be paying alot of attention in the combat rebalance Does this mean we will get something before the smuggler revamp?
- Slicing!! Woot oowt! Player will able to choice what kind of slice and the effective of the slicing. But slicing will be alot harder than what it is right now. Player might break good weapons, if it goes wrong.
- There are also discuss about putting a quest to master smuggler.
- Feign death will be fix.
- Smuggler will not be fix in the short time.
- All Squad Leader's skill box will be fix and review. Apparently we can't get simple fixes like this though
- Smuggler will get an melee attack.

Thanks for passing this along.
I wonder if any ideas they are planning have any basis on what the community have come up with, or if they just decided to go with their own ideas.
