Thread: Master, Smuggler?

Imade a pretty difficult decision the other night. I dropped Master Smuggler. I don't slice anymore ( I don't believe in slicing for others ) and well, spices, I don't make those. The only thing Master really offered me was the title, and a 25% faction perk reduction. Well, all the title did was generate nonstop "hey can u slice?" and I haven't actually bought any faction perks. Then on top of this, one of my guildmates has been stockpiling DOT pikes, and I myself have come across a few good ones lately. So I dropped the slicing and spice trees, and found I had room for to get the polearm tree of brawler, as well as some exploration skills, to improve my terrain negotiation. I was a triple master.
But that's not the point of this message. The point of this message is that I'm hoping this change is temporary. When the combat upgrabalavamp comes, I'm hoping I won't need DOTs to make it in pvp. The point of it is I'm hoping there's a weapon cert or special at master smug. The point of it is I'm really bored right now lol.
What does everyone think about this though? Is there anything to Master Smuggler aside from a possibly delusional sense of pride? I mean, to people who understand the profession, sure, it says, "wow, you worked damn hard, made a lot of pistol xp, did a lot of slicing, even crafted, to gain a title that doesn't even do anything. that's dedication." To everyone else it translates as "slicewhore."
Somebody one-star this because I'm probably a moron for posting it

The only thing keeping me from dropping master is that I slice for a weaponsmith. I can't just leave him high and dry, he's too awesome for that.

I just GOT Master, so I fear I have not become bitter and cynical yet. lol 
Mm you want someone to one star you.... I can do it, but it gonna cost you..... I wonder what happen if you type /tip chilastra.Laffy bank 500000

I was just a n00b cynic then I found that the smuggler forum is great for grinding cynic xp. I'm now 3344 cynic, and so have the titles of Detractor and Doubting Thomas. A few more threads and I should have enough for the Misanthrope and Headshaker boxes, then it's on to MASTER CYNIC!

i dont think i can find a way to drop my master cynic skills, so guess im stuck with smuggler

surrendering cynic iskind of like pilot. You have to find an npc to surrender them. Unfortunately he only appears as a white dot on your overhead map and spawns randomly on dathomir.

off-topic but I think I may have an upgrade addiction. Recently set about upgrading my comp and ended up building a whole new comp. Now I find myself shopping for more ram. you'd think 1gb would be enough, but here I am...

And he attacks you on sight, with force powers.
