It does that because FD only works a certain number of times until you commit to the smuggler profession, and dont just use it for FD =P.

No, I am poking fun at you for getting smuggler 0010 just to use FD. You a jedi?

Ah, look. You got 1-starred..told ya so.

You must be in combat for FD to work, so make sure not to peace before. Oh and you must be standing, not kneeling or prone.

That's the more popular reasons why FD fail, as far as I know. I have not been playing tonight so don't know if a problem cropped up since yesterday, but yesterday FD was working fine.
